OUR MISSION:

The mission of The Swamp Baseball Academy is to develop competitive baseball players in a culture built on accountability, toughness, and professionalism.

We provide athletes with a structured environment where they can compete, grow, and prepare for the next level of baseball while representing their schools, families, and teammates the right way.

Our program emphasizes:

• Player Development — meaningful innings and at-bats in competitive environments
• Professional Standards — preparation, punctuality, and respect for the game
• Team Culture — players who compete hard and support one another
• College Alignment — communication with college programs regarding workload and development

MEET THE OWNER & HEAD COACH

Drake Hoffman was born and raised in a baseball home where his father played and coached for several different MLB teams. Coach Drake’s playing days started with the Anaheim Little League, then went onto Canyon High School, and then to Cypress College. He brings 8 years of coaching experience that includes players of all ages and levels. He is currently the assistant coach at Westcliff University and “The Swamp Dogs” college summer ball teams head coach. Drake has also coached at Esperanza High School and Whittier Christian.

Show good sportsmanship on and off the field. This includes no arguing with umpires or opposing teams

Be respectful of your teammates and coaches
Come with your best effort (no walking on field, etc)
Show up as your best self every time (correct uniform, hat forwards, tucked in jersey)
No phones out during games
